We arrived in LA after what seemed like a really long 15hrs cramped on a plane to find out that our hotel room wasn't going to be ready for a few hours. So we decided to hop on the trolley and head down to Manhatten Beach for a few hours. We walked around the beach area and shops then headed to another shopping centre where they had a Borders. We found a Whole Foods Market which was really amazing and we ended up eating dinner there before we went back to the hotel for some very much needed sleep - we had been awake for about 34 hrs with only a few cat naps on the plane.
